Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Hesston, KS is seeking a Robot Welding Part Loader for first and second shifts. You will work on a robotic welding line, assembling and fitting parts, operating hand tools, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

  • Technical ability to elevate issues when identified.
  • Able to follow standard work as trained by a supervisor or OpEx lead.

Robot Welding Part Loader

1st Shift 6:30am - 2:30pm

2nd Shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm

What You’ll Do

Work within a station that is part of a robotic welding line for the robot to weld a unit using standard build process. Follow all production processes to maintain a consistent workflow to ensure safe operations, quality product and consistent delivery.

  • Assemble/fit together parts to form complete units or sub-assemblies in a robot fixture
  • Use various hand tools such as grinders, scrapers, or other types of finishing tools to ensure quality product
  • Control operation of robot, cleaning and inspection.
  • Read and understand operation standard, as needed, such as blueprint.
  • Manual movement and lifting by clamping parts together by hand and/or using hand tools.
