Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Robot Welding Part Loader for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts (6:30am–2:30pm, 2nd shift, 3:00pm–11:30pm) to join our robotic welding line.

You will load units, assemble sub-assemblies and support the welding process to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery. You should be comfortable with hand tools, follow standard work, and wear required safety gear.

Qualifications

  • High School/GED diploma preferred (required to maintain the pre-treatment system only).
  • Ability to comply with safety standards (full body Tivex suits, air purifying respirator).
  • Technical ability to elevate issues when identified.
  • Able to follow standard work as trained by a supervisor or OpEx lead.

  • Assemble/fit together parts to form complete units or sub-assemblies in a robot fixture.
  • Use various hand tools such as grinders, scrapers, or other types of finishing tools to ensure quality product.
  • Control operation of robot, cleaning and inspection.
  • Read and understand operation standard, as needed, such as blueprint.
  • Manual movement and lifting by clamping parts together by hand and/or using hand tools.

What You’ll Do

Work within a station that is part of a robotic welding line for the robot to weld a unit using standard build process. Follow all production processes to maintain a consistent workflow to ensure safe operations, quality product and consistent delivery.
