Job summary

Lynchburg Health & Rehabilitation Center, part of Medical Facilities Of America, is seeking an RN House Supervisor for its 180-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Lynchburg. The ideal candidate will be a licensed RN with a strong commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and the ability to lead a nursing team.

The House Supervisor will oversee the nursing department in the DON's absence, manage shift staffing, complete rounds, coordinate admissions/transfers/discharges, and

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with current state license.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
• Experience in an acute care setting.
• Strong leadership and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing department in DON's absence.
• Review staffing and assign/replace staff per shift.
• Complete patient care rounds and coordinate admissions/transfers/discharges.
• Assist in orientation of evening and night shift staff.
• Supervise and evaluate evening and night shift employees.
