The candidate should have 5+ years in micro or mechanical assembly, class 3 IPC-610 soldering skills, and strong teamwork. This is a 2nd shift position with a shift differential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Hand solder components, wires, and jumpers into assemblies per IPC-610.
• Assemble and/or solder electronic components to printed circuit boards.
• MMIC die attach of chip components using silver epoxy.
• Hybrid circuit assemblies using silver epoxy and solder.
• Read and follow detailed process sheets, prints and drawings.
• Follow written and verbal instructions; maintain quality and documentation.
• Use Loctite, epoxy, and other compounds as required by the process steps.
• Handle ESD sensitive material and equipment; maintain clean work areas.

Ideal candidate should be skilled in performing precision rework on QFN components, RF amplifiers, and products with extensive ground planes. Experienced using hot plates and hot‐air rework tools to safely remove, repair, and replace components while maintaining solder joint integrity and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Work hours are 3PM - 11:30 PM and is eligible for shift differential.We are looking for electro/mechanical assemblers with:* 5+ years working as a Micro assembly/Mechanical assembly preferred or related experience* Candidates should have Class 3 soldering skills per IPC-610* All applicants must be team players highly motivated to learn the complex assembly requirements of microwave systems.* This is a hands-on position that requires a strong ability to work on delicate parts utilizing a microscope* Communication skills and commitment to quality products are extremely important* This role includes working on continuous improvement teams along with development engineering and manufacturingRequirements: High school diploma required. A diploma from a Vocational High School or Technical Diploma is a plus.* **Must be a US citizen**, government security clearance is required. Current clearance holder preferred!* Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions/documentation* Commitment to learn and develop new skillsSpecific Responsibilities:* Ability to work 8 hours under the microscope utilizing miniaturized hand tools such as tweezers and fine screwdrivers* In-process inspection and self-inspection* Hand solder components, wires, and jumpers into the assemblies per IPC-610* Assemble and/or solder electronic components to printed circuit boards* MMIC Die attach of chip components using silver epoxy* Hybrid circuit assemblies using silver epoxy and solder* Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets, prints and drawings* Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions* Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions, as well as other job activities* Dexterity, eye - hand coordination for assembly using a variety of tools and or equipment according to specifications/process* Use Loctite, epoxy, and other compounds as required by the assembly process steps* Handle of ESD sensitive material and equipment* Willing to be cross-trained and perform other related duties as required* Demonstrate a keen awareness of safety practices and familiarity with OSHA standards* Ensure work areas are kept neat, clean, and organized per company guideline* Must maintain a very good attendance record*For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
