Job summary

AtWork Group in Greeneville, TN is hiring for a Rewinder Operator on the 2nd shift (4:00 PM to 2:30 AM). The role focuses on operating rewinding/slitting equipment and ensuring labels meet quality specifications.

You will inspect print quality, set up machines, package finished rolls, complete production paperwork, and follow safety procedures. Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience is helpful, but not required; detail-oriented, reliable attendance, and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, printing, or warehouse environments is preferred but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude to learn production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to read work orders and follow written instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Operate rewinder and slitting equipment according to procedures.
• Inspect labels for print quality, color consistency, alignment, and defects.
• Remove defective labels and notify supervisors of quality concerns.
• Set up and adjust rewind machines for various label sizes and specs.
• Count, label, and package finished rolls according to customer requirements.
• Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Load and unload rolls of label stock and finished product.
• Monitor machine performance and report equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures, GMP standards, and company policies.
• Meet daily production and quality goals.
• Assist in other production or warehouse duties as assigned.
