Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment in a production setting preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with machinery.

• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities during production runs.

Responsibilities

• Operate rewinding equipment to slit and rewind printed materials to customer specifications.
• Set up jobs including core loading, blade positioning, tension settings, and web alignment.
• Inspect materials for defects and ensure finished rolls meet width, diameter, and winding quality specs.
• Record production data such as quantities and waste; maintain 5S and safety standards.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on rewinding equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and escalate as needed; communicate with press and finishing teams.
