Job summary

Abbott Label in Mesa, AZ is seeking a 2nd Shift Rewind Operator to stage materials and tooling, run rewind machines, and support quality control in a fast-paced production environment.

You will align and configure machinery, inspect samples, perform routine maintenance, and help with daily production totals. A high school diploma and 2+ years of manufacturing/warehouse experience are required.

Experience with rewind machinery and narrow web printing is preferred; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training preferred.
• Experience with rewind equipment and narrow web printing is preferred.
• Manufacturing/warehouse experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Operates rewind machinery.
• Reviews client requests to understand scope and parameters of rewind jobs.
• Determines quantities required for rewind job.
• Aligns and configures machinery.
• Inspects random production samples to evaluate quality of work.
• Troubleshoots issues with rewind machine and makes basic repairs.
• Performs routine maintenance on rewind machines.
• Drafts and submits reports for daily production totals.
• Maintains a clean area around rewind machinery.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
