Job summary
Easterseals NH is seeking a 2nd Shift Residential Instructor to work with youth with neurological or psychological disabilities. This role involves leading groups, running recreational activities, and implementing behavior plans in a hands-on environment.
You will assist with daily living tasks, help develop coping strategies, and model positive behavior in a collaborative team setting. A driving license and reliable transportation are required.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older and have a high school diploma.
- An Associates or Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 credits in Human Services.
- Two years of residential experience or a combination of Human Service college credits and experience totaling 2 years.
- Be a parent of a child 7 years of age or older.
- Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Work with youth with neurological and/or psychological disabilities.
- Lead groups and recreational activities and help with behavior plans.
- Assist clients with daily living activities and social skills.
- Serve as a trusted role model in a team-oriented setting.
- Support development of coping strategies and relationship skills.
