Job summary

Justice Resource Institute is seeking a Residential Counselor for the 2nd Shift at Lindencroft, a group home for adolescents. You will lead a small team and provide a supportive, therapeutic environment for youths in care.

Responsibilities include delivering enriching activities, teaching life skills, and maintaining safety through positive de-escalation. The role offers hourly pay, bilingual bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting clients is required.
• Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
• Background and driving records will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dynamic team to support adolescents in a group home.
• Deliver enriching daily activities such as arts and crafts and offsite field trips.
• Foster a safe, therapeutic community by supporting clients and modeling coping strategies.
• Help students develop life skills including cooking, banking, and vocational tasks.
• Support clients in developing a sense of self and ready them for next steps.
