Job summary

Pilkington North America, part of the NSG Group, seeks a 2nd shift Warehouse Associate to support daily production and shift leadership in Columbus, OH. You’ll run reports, assign tasks, and ensure timely, accurate orders while upholding safety and quality standards.

Hourly pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00, with a shift premium. Benefits include 401(k) matching, medical and life insurance, paid holidays and vacations, and educational assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Microsoft Office software skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent attendance record.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment on shift activities.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, conflict resolution, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of physical attributes of glass parts.
• Advanced SAP and intermediate COPS knowledge.
• Ability to lift 35-70 pounds daily and work at heights up to 30 feet.

Responsibilities

• Assist Operations Manager and Warehouse Shift Supervisor with daily shift operations to carry out orders and assignments.
• Run production reports and assign employees to tasks.
• Investigate safety incidents and report findings.
• Handle shift communications and order supplies as needed.
• Assist with training of temporary and regular employees.
• Act as replacement for absent positions on shift.
• Serve as liaison between shift staff and supervisor/coordinator.
