Job summary

Misfits Market is a mission-driven grocery delivery startup seeking a Replenishment Lead to oversee inventory replenishment in our refrigerated warehouse, drive efficiency, and manage a fast-paced team. You will use our WMS to locate and pick products, ensure correct packaging, follow GDP and SQF standards, and partner with teammates to hit daily targets while upholding safety.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to work in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees).
• Strong verbal communications skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you to.
• Ability to thrive in a repetitive and fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a finger scanner and WMS to locate and select products in the refrigerated warehouse.
• Safely and efficiently pack selected items into appropriate packaging, considering temperature-sensitive requirements for refrigerated products.
• Strictly adheres to the SQF Food Safety Code while monitoring the warehouse floor to ensure all employees consistently follow GDP rules.
• Drives a proactive “see something, say something” culture, effectively escalating concerns and taking swift action appropriate to their level of responsibility.
• Ensure that all picked items match customer orders and meet Misfits’ quality standards. Use the appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage or spoliage during transportation.
• Conduct regular quality checks on products to identify any damages, discrepancies, or expiration issues.
• Work closely with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
• Verify and maintain inventory levels within your bay, communicating effectively with other teams to ensure timely replenishment and minimize disruptions.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including proper use of PPE in a food-based, refrigerated environment.
• Help us maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace. Complete all assigned safety training as required in a timely manner.
• Maintain functional knowledge in all areas of the production line, including box building and prepping.
