Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a second shift (Mon-Thu, 11am-9pm) at Navicent Health Medical Center - Radiology: Xray. The role performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with emphasis on patient safety and accurate documentation.

Ideal candidates are ARRT-eligible with registry completion within 1 year and BLS. Some OR experience is preferred; this position requires 40 hours per week with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification and verifies identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment and demonstrates proper positioning.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by department standards.
