Job summary

Advocate Health Navicent Health Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, document patient histories, and ensure proper patient identification. The role requires ARRT-recognized radiologic technology education and registry eligibility with BLS certification.

The position supports 3rd shift scheduling and includes benefits eligibility with a 36-hour work week.

Qualifications

• ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology education completed.
• Registry eligible with completion within 12 months of hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Operates equipment and positions patient correctly.
• Maintains records as required by standards.
