Amrize in Rockville, MD is hiring a 2nd Shift Utility Operator to safely manage heavy equipment in our quarry. You will perform inspections, operate loaders and dozers, and support stockpiling, maintenance, and daily site operations in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience operating heavy equipment in an industrial or recycling environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (wheel loaders, dozers) to support quarry production and stockpiling.
• Load, move, and transport aggregate materials safely within the quarry.
• Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections and report issues.
• Assist with general quarry labor, including cleanup and material handling.
• Assist with basic electrical tasks and minor repairs under supervision.
• Maintain and monitor equipment condition and safety procedures.
