Job summary

Comprehensive Logistics Inc. (CLI) is seeking a Quality Technician to support inbound-to-manufacturing operations on the 2nd shift in Denton, TX. You will ensure compliance with quality standards, perform tests, and document results to drive continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, problem-solving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality output and efficient processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a quality support role.
• Experience in automotive, industrial, manufacturing, or logistics is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specs and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality-assurance processes and test products; record and analyze results.
• Adhere to production processes and best practices.
• Monitor product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of output.
• Update internal charts for CSI activity.
• Complete shift data collection activity reports.
• Conduct internal audits of processes; perform layered process audits.
• Audit new or replacement team members to ensure proper understanding of roles.

Position Responsibilities

• Maintaining quality‑assurance processes, testing products, and recording and analyzing results data during product development and manufacturing.
• Following through on set processes and ensuring adherence to best production practices.
• Ensuring adherence to product quality standards, as well as monitoring the efficiency and cost‑effectiveness of product output.
• Updating internal charts for any CSI activity.
• Completing shift data collection activity reports.
• Performing internal audits of processes.
• Performing layered process audits.
• Auditing new or replacement team members to ensure they understand their area of assignment.

Position Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience within a quality support role.
• Experience within automotive, industrial, manufacturing, and/or supply chain/logistics industries is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in a quality technician or related role preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non‑conformities.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and communicate quality‑related issues.
• Ability to take initiative, identifying potential problems and solutions.
