Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Quality Inspector to support 2nd shift operations (3:30pm–12:00am). You will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product quality and conformance to standards, inspect plumbing, electrical and fabricated products, and conduct process audits on welding, assembly and laser operations.

The ideal candidate is safety-minded, a strong team player with attention to detail, and proficient in basic computer tools including SAP.

Qualifications

• Safety-focused with knowledge of workplace safety practices.
• Experience around heavy machinery and industrial equipment with safety adherence.
• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections accurately.
• Comfortable in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Preferred experience inspecting plumbing, electrical, HVAC units, welding, brazing, and automotive components.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Report safety concerns or hazards promptly to appropriate personnel.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections for quality.
• Inspect plumbing, electrical, and fabricated products visually and functionally.
• Conduct process audits on welding, assembly, and laser operations.
• Identify and document nonconforming products and write nonconformance reports.
• Serve as a point of contact for production teams on quality questions.
• Use measurement tools and read fractional and metric units.
• Utilize Word/Excel/PowerPoint and SAP or similar systems for documentation and communication.
