Job summary

USF is seeking a Quality Inspector for the 2nd shift in Riverside, MO. You will support the Quality System by auditing in-process product, documenting results, and assisting with related tasks to meet customer requirements.

You will examine materials, verify conformance to specifications, rework as needed, and use precision measuring tools. A high school diploma or GED and strong reading, math, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Basic math: add/subtract/multiply/divide.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of inspection techniques and measurement instruments.
• Awareness of quality systems and standards.

Responsibilities

• Examine and inspect materials and parts to discover defects, wear, and tear.
• Ensure products conform to work orders, specifications, blueprints, and templates.
• Inspect materials and finished parts for conformity and adjust processes as needed.
• Re-work parts per work instructions.
• Use precision measuring instruments and testing equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
