Job summary

Lake Air Products is seeking a 2nd shift Quality Inspector at our Roseville, MN facility. You will inspect components and assemblies for defects, perform first piece and in-process checks, and support the production team in achieving quality and delivery goals.

You will track defects, participate in corrective actions, and ensure compliance with ISO quality systems. A growing manufacturing environment offers competitive wages and full benefits, including 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Ability to use height gauges and standard bench measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of GD&T.
• Knowledge of inspections and quality control methods.
• 3 years of quality inspection experience preferred.
• AA Degree or equivalent training preferred.
• Preferred certifications: ASQ, ISO 9001, project management, Lean/Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Inspect individual components and assemblies for defects and deviations from specifications.
• Perform 1st piece inspections and in-process inspections as directed.
• Support production and assist less experienced inspectors with IP inspections.
• Track defect data and participate in corrective actions.
• Comply with ISO and quality system requirements.
