Job summary

RBC Bearings Incorporated is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our Santa Ana facility. You will inspect metal parts using gauges and metrology instruments, read blueprints, and verify product dimensions against specifications.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years of inspection experience, strong math and MS Office skills, and a solid understanding of quality control. You will document results, reject nonconforming parts, and support calibration and MRB processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years inspecting metal parts.
• Excellent MS Office knowledge and basic math.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Experience with precision inspection equipment and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products using gauges and metrology instruments.
• Perform regular quality assessments on incoming materials and outgoing products.
• Reject nonconforming parts and document MRB decisions.
• Read blueprints, plans and specifications to understand requirements.
• Measure dimensions and compare with specifications.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Identify quality issues and suggest process improvements.
• Maintain calibration of inspection equipment and return tools to calibration.
