Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
• 1+ years of blueprint reading and/or GD&T experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete surface plate work/inspection of machined aerospace and commercial parts.
• Inspect supplied product per drawing and work order specifications.
• Perform in-process, visual and dimensional inspection of precision parts.
• Collaborate with production to reduce defects and improve products.
• Document non-conformances according to procedures.
• Support quality management system policies and lean initiatives.
• Work cross-functionally using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
• Review certifications and conformance to design/specifications.
