1st St NW Technical Staffing is helping a 75-year-old manufacturing company fill a temporary 2nd shift Quality Inspector role for ~4 weeks. Schedule options include Mon-Thu 2:30pm-1:00am or Mon-Thu 9 hours plus Fri 4 hours. Job description

75-year-old manufacturing company has an IMMEDIATE opening for a 2nd shift Quality Inspector on a temporary basis. Position should last ~4 weeks.

Candidate may choose to work Monday-Thursday 2:30pm -1:00am (10 hours/day) or Monday-Thursday 9 hours/day and 4 hours on Friday.

Duties:

• Perform quality inspections of machined components
• Operate CMM (Zeiss) to verify that manufactured parts meet design specifications
• Review manufacturing blueprints and inspection instructions
• Follow GD&T symbols

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience inspecting machined components/parts
• Experience operating a CMM
• Understanding of GD&T and strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work 2nd shift, start ASAP, and work a short-term assignment

Salary: $27-28/hr.
