Job Summary:

Work to maintain LMT’s high-quality standards. Ensure that all parts produced and shipped are of the highest quality and meet or exceed all quality specifications.

Job Duties:

1. Perform 1st Piece inspection
2. Read specifications
3. Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards
4. Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
5. Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
6. Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
7. Accept or reject finished items
8. Use proper scanning procedures for all products and ensure scanning accuracy
9. Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
10. Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products
11. Report inspection and test data
12. Use computer to look up inventory transactions, relevant documentation, and for communication

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Control or a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics
