Job summary

Brakebush Chicken in Mocksville, NC is seeking a 2nd Shift Quality Control Technician I to ensure product quality through tests, record-keeping and cross-department communication. You will monitor CCPs, follow HACCP, USDA, GMP standards and work the 3:30 pm–1:30 am shift with some variation.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, and successful completion of pre‑employment drug testing and background check. Full-time employment with competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must meet pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests and checks on products, including temperature, metal detectors, x-ray checks, and date code verification.
• Inspect product at different production stages to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records for audits and customer inquiries.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
