Job summary

Stampede Culinary Partners in Sunland Park, NM, is hiring a 2nd Shift Quality Control Technician as a full-time role. The position requires overseeing quality processes, testing products, and ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards.

You will weigh and inspect batch components, perform metal detection checks, and support training for new QC staff. This role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Manage USDA and SOP documentation and perform tests on products (seasonings, batter, breading, marinades).
• Pull products off the line to verify weight, length and thickness meet specs; perform hourly metal detection checks.
• Ensure GMP practices are followed and assist in training new QC Technicians.

YOUR ROLE

This is a full-time, 2nd shift position.

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2 PM to 10 PM


• Frequent overtime available as needed

As our 2nd Shift Quality Control Technician, your role is critical in ensuring that our company continuously produces high-quality products. You'll be actively involved in every aspect of the quality process, from handling U.S.D.A. and S.S.O.P documentation to conducting tests on our products, including seasonings, batter, breading, and marinades. You'll pull products off the line to ensure that weight, length, and thickness meet customer specifications and perform hourly metal detection checks to maintain product integrity. You'll be part of the team ensuring that GMP practices are followed and help train new QC Technicians to ensure seamless operations.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency with computers


• Adherence to quality and safety guidelines


• Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs in a cold, loud, and fast-moving production environment


• Basic math skills with the ability to use a calculator to determine percentages and averages


• Great communications skills, both written and verbal


• Strong organization and time management skills

Experience in the food industry is preferred but not required for this 2nd Shift Quality Control Technician position.
