Job summary

Bimstore is seeking a Quality Inspector to inspect and verify manufactured parts against prints and customer specs. The role supports production quality through first article inspections, audits, data collection, and nonconformance reporting in a 2nd shift environment.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in manufacturing and is available for the 2PM–10PM shift. English and Spanish language support are present in the posting, reflecting a bilingual environment.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a manufacturing setting; prior experience in Quality preferred.
• Must be available and able to work the agreed upon shift.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify that items manufactured meet all print and customer specifications.
• Perform 1st article inspections for work orders in welding, machining, and core area.
• Fill out inspection reports, documenting that components or coolers meet print.
• Conduct process audits in several manufacturing areas and measure parts for conformity.
• Fill out nonconformance reports for defects found in manufacturing.
• Gather and organize production data and analyze to report key quality and process metrics.
• Report issues to supervisor or appropriate personnel as needed.
• Maintain regular physical attendance as required by AKG policy.
