Eaton in Rumford, RI is seeking a Quality Auditor for 2nd shift. You will inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, CMMs, and related tools, perform ATPs, and ensure conformance to specifications. The role includes shop floor audits and collaboration with engineering to improve processes.

This safety‑sensitive position requires attention to 5S practices and strict adherence to ITAR and quality procedures. The union environment offers career stability.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of mechanical measurement experience obtained recently in manufacturing, inspection, and/or educational environment.
• Experience reading blueprints, specifications and sketches of a complicated nature, and using precision measuring devices.
• This position requires U.S. ITAR compliance; only U.S. persons may be considered.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles of the Rumford, RI location will be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Measure, layout, witness, or set up Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) on a wide variety of products and components.
• Set up and perform bench, in-process, and final inspections as needed.
• Perform shop floor audits of operators and inspection equipment per the Quality System.
• Identify non-conforming work and document conditions for disposition.
• Coordinate with Engineers to develop or improve processes.
