Job summary

Staffing Network is seeking QC Technicians / QC Lab Assistants for a large manufacturing and distribution facility for construction material in Grand Prairie, TX. Pay rate is $20/hr with weekly pay; 2nd shift 12:00pm – 9:00pm.

Support the Quality Control team with routine laboratory testing, sample preparation, documentation, and general lab activities to keep timely QC testing and accurate records for a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior laboratory, manufacturing, or quality experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Ability to work independently while also supporting a team.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing/laboratory environment and handle physical sample preparation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine QC testing and assist with sample preparation.
• Collect and organize production and raw material samples.
• Enter test results accurately into QC systems and logs.
• Assist with testing of mortars, thinsets, grouts, sands, and other products.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked laboratory workstations.
• Follow established Quality Work Instructions (QWIs), procedures, and safety requirements.
• Communicate test results, failures, and concerns to QC Technicians and leadership.
• Assist with inventory checks, sample retention, and general QC documentation.
• Support the QC team with other laboratory and quality-related tasks as needed.
