Job summary

INW Phoenix Formulations in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for the 2nd shift on the production floor. You will inspect materials, perform sampling and testing, and document batch records to ensure quality standards are met.

The role demands attention to detail, basic math skills, and English language proficiency as you collaborate with QA, QC and Operations teams in a fast-paced environment. The company emphasizes safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Mathematical Skills – Accuracy with arithmetic, decimals, and percentages.
• Language Skills – Read and comprehend instructions in English and engage in general conversations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, sort, sample, or weigh raw materials, in-process product or finished goods for defects and deviations from specifications.
• Perform accurate and timely inspection, sampling and testing of all incoming raw materials and products.
• Provide assistance to the production floor with line checks, batch counts, ATP and allergen swabbing.
• Accurately record in-process documentation on batch records.
• Support QA, QC and Operations with inspections, sampling, releases, and other activities as needed.
• Ensure all products and materials meet quality specifications.
• Maintain clean work area and equipment at all times.
• Follow direction from QA Manager, Supervisor and/or Lead.
