QA TECHNICIAN I (GB)

Location: Souderton, Pennsylvania

Position at JBS USA Food Company

Quality Assurance Technician I - Ground Beef - 2nd Shift - Souderton, PA

  • Monitor SOPs, SSOPs, and GMP compliance of associates, perform HACCP procedures to comply with federal regulations.
  • Perform pre-shipment inspection on product and trailers, including lifting and opening boxes, scanning, and printing labels.
  • Maintain contact with USDA and present records upon request.
  • Review records for accuracy and ensure accountability.
  • Assist QA supervision and management in data gathering and investigations outside regular technician duties.
  • Collaborate with Shipping and Production teams to monitor product specifications and address deficiencies.
  • Develop solutions to problems and work independently when necessary.
  • Monitor the implementation of food safety and quality procedures, report and correct deficiencies.
  • Extended walking and standing in cold/freezing environments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Hours: During production hours on the Ground Beef floor, typically 8.5 hours or more, 5-6 days a week. Shifts may vary, and employees may be asked to trade shifts or work outside normal hours.
