Job summary

Masis Professional Group is seeking a QA Supervisor for a food manufacturing client in Le Center, MN. The role oversees QA technicians and daily production activities to ensure food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance (SQF, HACCP, GMP). The 2nd shift starts at 4:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Must have a flexible schedule including working weekends, as necessary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities of QA Technicians, and coaches, trains, and supports the QA team to support business growth.
• Provides guidance regarding quality and food safety issues to Operations and QA teams.
• Communicates daily with FSQA Techs regarding production schedule and QA issues.
• Maintains inventory of QC/lab supplies and coordinates training from suppliers or new equipment purchased.
• Reviews and organizes operational paperwork on a daily basis.
• Supports audits and participates in inspections; analyzes results and deficiencies found.
