Job summary

Lake Air Products is seeking a 2nd shift Punch Press Set-Up Operator A in New Hope, MN to handle complex punch press setups, machine management, and die alignment. The role requires attention to quality, flexibility, and strong teamwork in a metal stamping environment.

Responsibilities include operating a single-stage punch press, inspecting parts for conformance, and performing routine maintenance. High School diploma required; 2-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of varied manufacturing experience preferred.
• Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
• Flexible and able to multi-task in a fast-moving environment while driving toward clarity and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Complex setups with little or no defects.
• Ability to manage multiple machines including automatic machines.
• Knowledge of bend allowances.
• Inspects work pieces for conformance to specifications and adjusts machine to correct errors.
• Assembles, installs, and aligns dies in press according to specifications.
• Starts press and observes operation to detect misalignment or malfunction.
