Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division in Pinckneyville, IL seeks a Punch Press Operator - 2nd Shift. Core hours Monday-Friday 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Overtime may be required.

You will run press brake for forming/punching, measure parts with micrometers and calipers, read work orders, test and adjust machines, and install fixtures. Prior press brake experience and assembly exposure are preferred; strong accuracy and ability to work with minimal supervision are essential.

Qualifications

• No visa sponsorship is provided for this position; relocation not offered; candidates within 50 miles of Pinckneyville, IL only.
• Active-Duty Military Service members are exempt from the geographic limitation.

Responsibilities

• Run press brake for forming and/or punching operations.
• Measure completed work pieces with tape measure, micrometers, gauges, and calipers to verify specifications.
• Inspect pieces for defects, document results, and maintain inspection logs.
• Read work orders to determine specifications and adjust machines as needed.
• Install and align punches, dies, or fixtures using gauges and hand tools.
