Job summary

Baird Center is seeking a Public Safety Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Milwaukee, WI. The role will supervise security staff, patrol facilities, monitor life-safety systems, and enforce policies. Evening, weekend, and holiday hours are required.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, be proficient in MS Office, and possess CPR/First Aid/AED certification within six months. Prior public safety experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, PP, Word, Access) and MS Outlook.
• Valid CPR, First Aid and AED certification within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Enforce WCD and PSD policies and procedures.
• Secure premises by monitoring surveillance equipment; patrolling property; inspecting buildings and access points.
• Direct guests, clients, and employees; control access to facility and meeting rooms.
• Monitor and direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic at loading docks.
• Respond to emergencies and dispatch safety personnel as needed.
• Prepare written daily logs and reports; conduct patrols.
• Supervise security patrol staff and contract security.
• Investigate complaints and incidents; maintain life-safety systems.
