Flexco Corp. in Tuscumbia, AL is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Worker to help load and unload conveyors and support all stages of the production process. You will follow the production schedule, visually inspect products, prepare items for shipping, maintain a clean work area, and read SOPs and WI.

Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting wherever needed, loading and unloading conveyor belts. This position is responsible for assisting in all operations of the production process.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Follow production schedule.
• Visually inspect product as it is being produced
• Prepare product for shipping.

• Ability to maintain work area cleanliness and general housekeeping regarding compounding areas.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions in regards to SOP’s, WI’s, Management instructions, and other job related instructions.
• Basic communication skills required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times.
• Ability to self-manage, prioritize, multi-task and work under deadlines.
• Ability to perform manual tasks under varying temperatures conditions in usually an indoor manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read weigh scales.
• Ability to perceive colors and shading.
• Ability to read precision measuring equipment
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
  • Semi-moderate to moderate physical activity.
