Job summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Production Trainee for our Gentry, AR location to support the high-speed packaging line. You will report to the Production Supervisor and play a key role in ensuring efficient and precise packaging of our snack cakes, from unwrapped cakes to pallet-ready cartons, while maintaining quality and productivity targets.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to schedules, with opportunity for growth within our family bakery.

Responsibilities

• Packaging unwrapped snack cakes into individual wrapping.
• Placing wrapped snack cakes into cartons.
• Filling cases with cartons of snack cakes.
• Arranging cases onto pallets for shipment, following specific stacking patterns.
• Monitoring production processes to meet quality and productivity targets.
• Collaborating with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and troubleshoot issues.
• Following production schedules and meeting production quotas.
• Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
