Job summary

Frontgrade Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Test Technician for the second shift in Carlsbad, CA. You will set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot circuits and assemblies, creating test specs from blueprints and diagrams.

You’ll also work with engineering to resolve production issues and contribute to NPIs and qualifications. The role emphasizes following procedures, keeping thorough testing records, and ensuring product quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required for the role.
• Basic electronics knowledge or hands-on experience is a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work in production environment to perform testing and troubleshooting of various components.
• Some manual assembly operations are required as part of the test function.
• Follow production documentation and processes, including keeping detailed records of testing and rework performed.
• Work closely with engineering to solve production problems and support NPIs and product qualifications.
• Interpret test specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics to perform tests and document results.
• Verify and analyze test results, troubleshoot and repair equipment, ensuring compliance with test requirements.
• Maintain test infrastructure and communicate daily production status and issues to supervisors and team.
