Responsibilities

• Lead and support production team members with direction and hands-on guidance.
• Input on production schedules and labor requirements for timely completion.
• Establish and enforce standardized work procedures for quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Identify improvements in production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Serve as a go-to resource for resolving shop-floor technical challenges.
• Ensure customer shipments are packaged accurately and on time.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating operations to meet goals.
• Develop and maintain a skills matrix for the department.
• Monitor inventory and ordering of packaging and supplies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the department.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness on the production floor and shared areas.
• Support a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
