Job summary

EHOB INC is seeking a production supervisor candidate to ensure adherence to directions set by the Production Supervisor and to oversee Production Associates on the floor.

The role includes setting up and running machines, training staff, and coordinating with floor supervisors. Experience with manufacturing environments and the ability to manage 10-60 production employees are desirable.

Summary

This position ensures that the direction set forth by the Production Supervisor is followed through by the Production Associates

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• - Sets up and runs machines.
• - Trains employees on proper machine usage.
• - Assigns employees to machines.
• - Signs people off on machines that they have been trained on.
• - Assists floor supervisors and fills in as needed to back up the supervisors.
• - Assists with the management of 10-60 production employees in the Production Department.
• - Is responsible for assisting with the overall direction, coordination of these units.
• - Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
• - Responsibilities include training employees; assigning and directing work; holds Production Associates accountable for efficiencies; reviews daily production numbers with associates.
• - Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with 1-2 years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• - Language skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public group, and/or boards of directors.
• - Mathematical skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
• - Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of information.
• - Computer skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
