Job summary

Granite City Processing, a steel producer in Granite City, IL, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and develop a team in a dynamic plant. You will oversee daily work assignments, ensure safety, quality, and productivity, and partner with peers to meet customer requirements.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience, strong communication, and solid computer skills. We offer a family-owned culture with competitive benefits and opportunities for long-term career

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience supervising production employees.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and overtime when required.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Solid computer literacy (MS Office).
• Experience in the steel industry preferred; familiarity with IATF, ISO 14001, and ISO 16949 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and support production staff in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Plan, assign, and direct daily work to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Monitor plant performance to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Collaborate with supervisors and production teams to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safety-focused work area.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support plant success.
