Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor for the Ehouse line. The ideal candidate will bring project management and team supervision experience to coordinate fabrication release, assembly, wiring, testing and shipment of finished products.

The role requires strong sheet metal fabrication knowledge and ERP proficiency. This full-time position operates on a 2nd shift (3:45pm–1:45am Mon–Thu with potential overtime).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication process.
• Experience with an ERP system.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Ability to pass background and drug test prior to employment.
• Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish daily tasks.
• Superior problem solving, project management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and manages assigned projects to production floor locations and personnel.
• Reviews project requirements for design accuracy, purchased goods, assembly and fabrication requirements as well as regulatory compliance requirements.
• Conduct design reviews and coordination of projects with plant manager, engineering, and sales.
• Coordinates cross departmental jobs for plant productivity and prioritization.
• Complete and facilitate design modifications, redlines and troubleshooting with production personnel and engineers.
• Reviews incoming purchased and produced goods to the assembly bays for accuracy and acceptability.
• Reviews completed projects for conformance with specifications, quality, and closeout requirements prior to shipping coordination.
• Interviewing, onboarding, training and reviews with direct reports.
• Participates and leads in company process improvements.
