Komatsu Mining Corp. is seeking a hands-on 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations on the shop floor in Reno, PA. The role focuses on safety, quality, productivity and on-time delivery while planning staffing and developing employees.

You will monitor performance and partner with Engineering, Quality, Production Control, Maintenance, EHS and HR to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement in a demanding production environment.

Qualifikationen

• Five years of supervisory experience in manufacturing and production scheduling.
• Ability to read prints and detailed drawings.
• Experience in unionized manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Root-cause analysis and corrective-action proficiency.
• Comfortable on the shop floor and ability to stand/walk for long periods.

Aufgaben

• Lead 2nd shift production activities safely and efficiently to meet schedule requirements.
• Plan departmental staffing, work schedules, and overtime; prepare continuous operation across shifts.
• Monitor production and quality performance to support on-time delivery against the schedule.
• Lead and promote safety culture; conduct weekly safety meetings and track issues.
• Coach and develop hourly employees; assess training and competency.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production Control, Maintenance, EHS, and HR to resolve issues.
• Manage departmental spending and equipment needs; support budgets and maintenance.
