Job summary

KSM Industries, a fast-growing sheet metal fabricator in Germantown, seeks a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead ~15 shop floor teammates. You will ensure safe, efficient shift execution and coordinate priorities with first shift leadership to meet quality, delivery, and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of manufacturing leadership, strong 6S/Lean experience, and the ability to read work instructions and production data.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory leadership in manufacturing.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication or related processes preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read work instructions, priorities, and performance data.
• ERP/MRP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead second-shift employees and coordinate production priorities.
• Direct daily production activities to meet schedule and on-time delivery.
• Enforce attendance, breaks, safety, and standard work.
• Promote 6S and Lean manufacturing throughout the shift.
• Coordinate shift handoffs, communicating status and constraints to partners.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
