Job summary

ABB on-site in St. Louis seeks a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensure safety and quality, and drive improvements. You will manage operators and technicians, coordinate schedules, and support payroll coding while upholding ABB policies and procedures.

You will develop the production team through coaching, timecard oversight, and performance reviews, tracking KPIs and coordinating maintenance with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years in production supervision or team leadership in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment operation, and maintenance.
• Commitment to safety, quality, continuous improvement and root-cause solving.
• Ability to read technical drawings, work instructions, and specs.
• Proficient in MES/ERP (SAP) and Microsoft Office; able to work in US.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and coordinate team activities to meet targets.
• Schedule management, backup supervision, and payroll coding support.
• Enforce safety, quality, and ABB policies; investigate incidents and near-misses.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance reviews for the team.
• Track KPIs, coordinate maintenance, and drive process improvements.
• Partner with Quality, Planning, Maintenance, Engineering, and Materials teams.
