Job summary

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT represents a food processing client seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor for second shift. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity while directing daily production activities and staffing to meet the plan.

The ideal candidate will coordinate start-up, runs and changeovers, monitor downtime, and partner with Quality, Maintenance and Safety to maintain efficient operations. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management or related field is preferred.
• Progressive manufacturing/production supervision experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, safety, quality, and productivity metrics.
• Ability to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities, staffing, scheduling, line performance & execution of the plan.
• Coordinate start-up, production runs and changeovers; manage training and scheduling.
• Monitor production records, downtime and rework; ensure materials are available.
• Work with Quality, Warehouse, Maintenance and Safety to keep operations efficient.
• Assist with nonconforming product issues, process improvements and procedures.
• Lead a hands-on team, hold employees accountable and maintain a safe, quality-focused environment.
