Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is hiring a Production Supervisor for our Faribault, MN facility. You will lead production activities, drive efficiency, and ensure safety and quality while aligning with schedules and customer deadlines.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing with 3+ years in supervision; a high school diploma is required and a related bachelor’s degree is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position on 2nd shift with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of related experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of direct supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors production activities to avoid delays and keeps schedules.
• Assists in achieving production objectives at lowest cost while maintaining quality.
• Ensures safety and product quality while improving procedures.
• Coordinates workflow with departments to meet deadlines.
• Trains employees on day-to-day procedures.
• Maintains output quality and quantity standards.
• Analyzes work orders to estimate hours and plan schedules.
• Interprets blueprints and job orders and assigns duties.
• Plans material flow according to work orders.
• Interacts with teams to meet customer deadlines.
• Inspects parts to verify specifications.
• Directs machine adjustments to fix non-conforming products.
• Suggests changes to improve production efficiency.
• Maintains time and production records.
• Supports capital equipment justification for tooling and processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
