Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day shift operations with emphasis on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Serve as first point of contact for operators on mechanical failures or production issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and enforce control procedures.
• Coordinate production activities with other departments to meet goals in a timely, cost-effective manner.
• Monitor activities to reduce waste and ensure schedules are met.
• Input production data into the system to track KPIs such as efficiency, downtime, and inventory.
• Provide daily shift production reports and reviews.
• Control load factors and workflow to maximize capacity and efficient use of labor and equipment.
