Biomerics, based in Winston-Salem, NC, seeks an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while guiding a skilled team.

You will coordinate cross-functional workflows, implement improvements, and maintain compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, contributing to cost reductions and sustained performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in operations or manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP or IQMS) and data analysis.
• Knowledge of safety standards and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to drive performance and engagement.
• Monitor production or operational metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Manage employee scheduling, attendance, and timekeeping.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues, including equipment, staffing, or process disruptions.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on operational performance.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operational activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity targets are met. Requirements:

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 3–5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, or a related environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage teams and drive performance improvements
• Knowledge of operational processes, safety standards, and quality systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, IQMS, or similar)
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must attend leadership training as provided by Biomerics.
• Training on inspection equipment
• Blue Print reading.
• Previous leadership is desirable but not a must.
