Job Description

We are seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to join a local manufacturing company in Waukesha for a direct hire.

Pay: $75,000 - 85,000 plus bonus

4 ten-hour days, Monday-Thursday, hours are 3pm-1am

Bachelor's Degree Required

OUR OPPORTUNITY:

The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee our 2nd shift powder coat paint line and fabrication team. They will ensure the production of company products at the highest quality, lowest cost, meeting performance standards, customer specifications, and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments.
  2. Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  3. Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders; assign duties accordingly.
  4. Act as a technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems.
  5. Document and ensure compliance with safety, HR policies, and reporting requirements.
  6. Coach employees, manage performance, and foster a culture of engagement.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience leading or supervising manufacturing teams, including involvement in hiring and termination decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to manage a team of 10-20 employee owners.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Experience with Epicor or other ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
