Job summary

Venture Hire Group LLC in Telford, PA, is seeking a 2nd Shift Supervisor for an aerospace manufacturing facility. You will oversee CNC machining, assembly, and cleaning operations on the 2nd shift, ensuring production targets, quality, and compliance with AS 9100/13100.

You will train employees, assign work, monitor attendance, enforce safety, conduct performance evaluations, manage disciplinary actions, and maintain the Skills Matrix.

Qualifications

• Ensure compliance with AS 9100/13100 and company policies.
• Train employees on processes and procedures.
• Assign work using scheduling software and monitor productivity.
• Maintain safe, disciplined and compliant work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CNC machining, assembly and cleaning on 2nd shift.
• Maintain Time & Attendance for all direct reports.
• Address safety issues and enforce safe practices.
• Evaluate employee productivity and quality performance.
• Schedule time off while keeping production levels.
• Administer disciplinary actions when required.
• Lock building and manage security; maintain Skills Matrix.

The 2nd Shift Supervisor supervises and supports the activities of an aerospace manufacturing facility. Shift activity consists of CNC machining, Assembly, and Cleaning, Deburring of metal and carbon product.

2nd Shift Hours:

M-Th 5:30pm-2am and Fri 3:30pm - 12am

Experience & Qualifications:

• Maintain an environment of compliance to AS 9100/13100 requirements and company policies and procedures.
• Train employees to follow company processes and procedures.
• Assign work to all direct reports using scheduling software.
• Monitor and maintain a productive environment.
• Maintain Time & Attendance for all assigned employees.
• Provide a safe workplace and address any safety issues.
• Periodically evaluate employees for productivity & quality.
• Communicate in a professional manner with other departments.
• Schedule time off while maintaining production levels.
• Administer disciplinary action when required.
• Locking the building and setting security.
• Maintain the Skills Matrix and complete performance evaluations.
