Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in the United States seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team on the 3pm–11:30pm shift. You will assign work, coordinate production activities, and work with engineering, material control, quality, and HR to maintain safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

This role requires at least two years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, proficiency with Word and Excel, a high school diploma, and preferably a bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 2nd shift 3pm–11:30pm, Monday through Friday.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervising hourly employees and maintaining shift operation logs.
• Prepare daily time sheets, production summaries, overtime and downtime reports.
• Plan work assignments to maximize manpower, materials, equipment, and facilities.
• Coordinate with Engineering on methods, layouts, processes and equipment improvements.
• Communicate production status and changes to management.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and housekeeping standards.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to deliver quality, on-time products.
